A Little Experiment: Loom + Castmagic

In a twist, I decided to draft this newsletter edition via video using Loom and then try out Castmagic for transcription + their AI Newsletter feature. It’s an experiment in efficiency and a new way of connecting with you. I’ll talk more about the results next week (teaser: I might be on to something with my workflow).

A (Not That) Tough Goodbye to Canva and Adobe

During my annual tech stack review, I realized I was spending over $450 a year on two creative tools (Canva and Adobe) while I have a lifetime subscription to another that offers similar features to Canva (Baseline.is). I had a longstanding relationship with Adobe Creative Suite, but it was time to reassess. Despite the nostalgia and the 'what-ifs,' it's very clear that Adobe does not fit into my current business framework or financial plan. And, I don't use it! While I do use Canva more, I can do what I need to do in Baseline without a recurring cost. So, I decided to take the money I’m spending on tools that are not moving my business forward and invest that in upgrading my subscription with a tool that is - MemberVault.
