Hey there Reader,
Happy New Year! As we step into another year full of opportunities, I want to share my review on the journey of this newsletter. My goal has been to use this platform to support early-stage entrepreneurs and small business owners by providing content that helps in business growth, restoring balance in life, and effectively using tech tools, regardless of your tech expertise.
The primary challenge at the start was deciding on the weekly content. I gave myself two goals:
- Write something every week.
- Send the newsletter out once a week.
Since launching Entrepreneur Tools in mid-September 2023, I sent out 11 newsletters. There were a few breaks for the holidays or when the kids had school breaks, but overall my commitment to write and deliver something weekly has really been working for me.
In the spirit of using tools, here are the ones I use in my newsletter workflow:
- ​ConvertKit for newsletter management.
- ​Notion for drafting.
- ​ChatGPT for ideation and copy editing.
- And my low tech office whiteboard for brainstorming and process mapping.
Progress so far:
- Building consistency.
- Generating new ideas.
- Easing the newsletter writing process.
- Growing the subscriber count.
Future Goals:
- Expand my subscriber base.
- Increase writing and audience engagement.
- Explore monetization avenues while keeping the newsletter free.
